Founded in 1977, Huntington began by operating retail-based Huntington Learning Centers. Parents sought us out to provide remedial instruction to their K-12 sons and daughters. For decades, Huntington only operated in the parent-pay market, where parents paid directly for the tutoring their children received.
In 1985, Huntington began offering franchised Huntington Learning Centers and achieved rapid acceptance and, through the efforts of its franchisees, expanded to nearly 400 nationwide centers.
In 2009, after seven years of thorough development, Huntington launched Huntington School Services, a home-based franchise that tutors underprivileged students at underperforming schools, with all funding through the No Child Left Behind Act.
We have two separate franchises available — one will be right for you:
- A retail-based tutoring facility that services the parent-pay market. This is our Huntington Center Services franchise.
- A school-based tutoring model, where the government pays for the tutoring under the No Child Left Behind Act. This is our Huntington School Services franchise.
